Assistant Professor of Management (Legal and Ethical Studies)

The School of Business Administration at Oakland University is recruiting a faculty member to teach the legal environment of business, international business law, and business ethics courses at the Graduate and Undergraduate levels beginning in the 2018 -2019 academic year. This position is a full-time tenure track position. The candidate’s teaching will be in the area of business law and ethics for undergraduate and graduate students over fall and winter semesters at Oakland University’s main and branch campuses. Candidates must have no less than three years legal experience;
an active research agenda; and a history of scholarly publications.We are particularly interested in individuals who have the following experience: previous experience teaching law at the university or law-school level; membership and participation as a member of a law school law review; experience as a law clerk at an appellate court or federal district court; and an undergraduate, masters, or doctorate degree from an AACSB-accredited college or university, or other relevant postgraduate degrees. Candidates must demonstrate experience with or a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

• a J.D. from an ABA-accredited school of law
