Job Description Summary:

The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor position in the area of Organic Chemistry. The successful candidate is expected to develop an externally funded research program. Teaching will be at the undergraduate and graduate (MS/PhD) levels in organic chemistry and/or related areas. Qualified applicants will have a Ph.D. and postdoctoral or equivalent experience. The successful candidate will engage undergraduate and graduate students in their research program.
The Department of Chemistry (https://wwwp.oakland.edu/chemistry/) is a research oriented department with Master’s and Ph.D. programs.
